I have given up. I decided to not go on Facebook for a week, just to see what happened. That week has turned into a month and a half. No one in my family has died. The country hasn't burned itself to the ground. (well, for the most part) And the internet keeps on turning. Obviously, it is not a central necessity of life. So, I choose to keep on living without it.
I mostly like to check in to look at the trending list, on the upper right. I do what I can to give it relatively equal time compared to my other social media feeds.
